A very rare, original lobby card for David Lean’s classic Great Expectations (1946).
This is the oldest image that we have in stock. The print was produced by the famous Waterlow and Sons in England, which was founded in 1810. The still shows Pip (John Mills) meeting Miss Havisham (Martita Hunt) and is a perfection example of the sumptuous production design that is always evident in David Lean’s work. A beautiful piece of movie history. The card is in great condition and displays beautifully in its frame.
Framed in a black wood frame with ivory-coloured mount and anti-UV glass.
