An original US one-sheet poster for Michael Mann’s crime masterpiece Heat (1995), starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer. Featuring the atmospheric blue-toned artwork of De Niro’s Neil McCauley walking through the streets of Los Angeles, this is one of the most recognisable poster designs for one of the defining crime films of the 1990s.
Heat has grown considerably in stature and is now widely considered a modern crime classic. Its influence can be seen across subsequent films and filmmakers, with its combination of character study, meticulous realism and breathtaking action helping to give the film an enduring reputation nearly three decades after its release.
This original US one sheet was produced for the film’s theatrical release in 1995. The striking photographic design, exceptional cast and enduring reputation of the film make this a particularly desirable piece of original 1990s movie memorabilia.
A superb poster from one of Michael Mann’s finest films and an excellent addition to any collection of crime cinema, 1990s film or original Hollywood movie posters. This is an original theatrical movie poster and not a reproduction.
